Practice: Small Triumphs

A quick note on what I noticed this morning, going through my practice routine. One thousand small triumphs in practice is much more rewarding than one big triumph. Why? With each small triumph, you train the mind to look for more. Your capacity to practice grows. You become more active. And as you do, you become more creative.

This is what John Wooden was talking about.
