Revisiting Kelly McGonigal on Stress Management

I am developing a lecture series about mastering elements of 21st century thinking, and one of the issues that pops up again and again is stress management. Bruce Schneier points out why stress is such a problem — so much of modern society is based on abstraction, we have a hard time assessing risk. So we get stressed out by risks, both real and imagined.

This sounds dangerous because we think of stress as a highly negative emotional state. It can by, but Kelly McGonigal points out that this is just part of the story
